Abstract
Hakeem Raheemuddin Tarb Dahlavi of Thaniser was an Urdu and Persian sufi poet of the nineteenth century and took interest in editing texts and translation. This article aim at providing life and works of the poet. He was a disciple of Imam Baksh Sahbai who taught him of rudimentary books of Persian language and he learnt to compose poetry. Many Tazkiras (bibliographical accounts of poets) discussed him as a poet of repute. He was a practicing Hakeem and had a mosque in Dehli. The article gives brief description of his books.
